Black Cats and Harry Potter

Hey everyone! I just got back from my second travel week and it was amazing! I will eventually write a blog on it but my grades come first and I have my paper about Estonia due soon. So wish me luck on that!
Although, I did want to tell you about my Halloween weekend! Halloween isn’t a big deal in Italy, especially in the sense of costumes. However, the CIMBA students still wanted to dress up. So we all planned on going to the bar down the street and dress up in anything that we could throw together. A couple of girls and I decided that we could be black cats fairly easy. All of us ended up wearing black shirts, pants/leggings and black shoes, along with some eyeliner whiskers and a nose we were almost finished. For some reason the creation of ears confused us, but finally Megan cut out some pointy triangles and colored them black and stuck them on a headband. Our outfits were complete! Amidst the pack of black cats were: Harry Potter characters, a couple of Greek goddesses, gangsters, surfers, masquerades, hippies and girls trying to be southern belles. It was an interesting mash-up of costumes, but it made it even more fun because everyone had to be extremely creative. No one had the expensive costumes everyone was just being silly and the silliness of the night really made it a night to remember!
