Things have been crazy here so I’ve just gotten the chance to write about my first travel week now! Sorry about the lateness. So I left for the first travel week at about 2:00 am on Saturday morning. Almost the entire school decided to go to Oktoberfest in Munich for the first part of the week and many got reservations on an overnight train.
There are two kids here that are photographers, Alan and Russle. Today, Alan and I rode down the way and found a quite country road. Him and I both share the hobby of photoing, only he actually knows what he’s doing. So this little ‘’shoot,'’ was him messing around, but it worked out for the both of us. He got to show his skills off and I got some real cool photos of something I love to do. Check out their websites,
Buongiorno!
Hello hello! It is a beautiful October day in Paderno del Grappa. It is Saturday October 17th, and fall has arrived, rather quickly too. Today, I rode with Ron, Corado, and Chris to Cittadella- Cittadella this medieval walled city founded in the thirteenth century and was used as a Roman military outpost. The surrounding wall has been restored. It is
1461 m in circumference with a diameter of around 450 m. There are four entrances to the walled city, which roughly correspond to the four points of the compass.

This market was aweeeeesome. The meat, I saw people sampling raw pieces, it was so fresh!
Great big market off of La Rambla, a main street in Barcelona

So it’s been a good while since a BLOG post! I am alive, so call off the search parties. Life has been action packed for the last 3 weeks, never a dull moment, and that’s just how we do it here at CIMBA. Every day is packed with things to do if one so desires: go to class, study, eat, cycle, play bball, intramural soccer and futbol americano, and there are always extra-curricular seminars and workshops going on.
This weekend brought another opportunity to travel with a lot of students from my school. Cinque Terre is 5 towns that run along the western coast of Italy. I thought I would never see a place more beautiful than Switzerland, but Cinque Terre definitely came close. We got there around 8 am, Saturday morning. As we couldn’t check into our hostel until 10 a few of us hiked around and even went swimming (which was my first time ever swimming in salt water). I was very surprised at how salty the water tasted and how quickly it burned my eyes haha.
This week classes hit hard. Everyone has dealt with some form of stress. Mine was just the realization of classes finally sunk in and trying to piece together a common schedule. Everyday day seems different and if I don’t attempt to plan a schedule and stick to it, I wind up looking at the clock at midnight asking myself, “Where did the day go?'’ On top of having a lot of things to balance at once, I am constantly trying to fit a bike ride into my day.

Hello all, I’m back with another exciting blog! So I have been up to a lot since my last post so hopefully this won’t be too lengthy for you all to read. I would like to start by addressing students who may be interested in this program. Just do it, you will not regret it! I probably had the same fears you did, but I’m telling you once you are here, they will disappear almost instantly! With that I will now tell you about what I’ve been up to.
